Wisycom BT App – User Guide

Wisycom BT App is a software for Android and iOS phones and tablets designed to remotely monitor and control Wisycom devices thru Bluetooth interface.

Minimum requirements:

  • Android tables and phones running Android 10
  • iPad and iOS devices running iOS 8.

The device must have Bluetooth and Location Services enabled in order to connect with Wisycom devices.

Supported devices:

Check if your devices are updated to the latest firmware version and upgrade them before using the App.

Remember to enable Bluetooth interface on your devices:

  • for MTP60: enter Settings > BT menu and set Pwr to Yes
  • for MCR54: enter BT menu and set Power on to Yes

For security, when pairing a Wisycom device to your phone, the Wisycom device will only stay in "pairing mode" for 30 seconds, for added security a passcode may be used to keep your Wisycom device between you and your phone. Enter BT menu and set Passcode to Yes.

View Settings

Click on the eye icon to change view settings

Select the eye icon to view all devices.

Devices not enabled for viewing will appear with a red background and hidden icon.

Select the barred eye to view only enabled devices

The number of available devices but not visible will be indicated in red.

NOTE: by default, after pairing, the view of the device is enabled
(to disable it: go to settings> known devices and disable by clicking on the eye icon)

List of Devices

By default the App shows the list of known devices.

The number of the new devices never connected before will appear in red next to the flag icon.

Click on the flag with + to connect a new device.

Pairing process

Enable pairing on the device you need to connect:
- for MTP60: enter Settings > BT menu and set Pairing to Yes
- for MCR54: enter BT menu and set Pairing to Yes

From the App click on the device you want to connect.
The following message appears on the display of the device:

Confirm and wait until connection process is completed.

Click on the right top icon to change display layout

  • Narrow View: reduce the monitor device panel to fit more devices

Settings

Enter on the Settings menu to change the App settings or to ask for support.

From known devices menu it is possible to enable view settings and multiple commands for each single device on which has been already paired.

Single Device Control

From the known devices panel, click on the single device to monitor and manage the unit

The main parameters of the unit will be displayed

The parameters that can be modified from the App will appear with a small pen icon at the top right.

Click and the pen, select the parameter and scroll from the values

More functions are available by pushing on the toggle icons located in the lower part of the screen.

Multiple Devices Control

Remember to enable the list of devices you want to manage with multiple commands on the settings > known devices menu.

Click on the small chip icon lower left:

The multiple commands icons will appear: in red the disable commands and in green the enable commands.

On MTP60 the following multiple commands are available:

  • MUTE / UNMUTE command
  • RF OFF / RF ON command
  • RECORDING STOP  / START command

Click on related icon.

The App will send the command to the list of devices and at the end will  show the number of successfully completed operations.
